I called Stacey yesterday afternoon and she told me some exciting news! She got accepted in the American Studies Program that will allow her to spend her final semester at Gordon University in Washington, D.C.! The same program that sent her to Egypt last fall is giving Stacey the opportunity to intern at a D.C.-based newspaper and take courses in political studies.[Sadly, as I talked to her, I felt a nagging fear of another terrorist attack...in Washington. It's a very sad time we live in....and we now accept it is a matter of fact.]
