I said yes.....

When I accepted the book project I am working on now, I decided to allow myself plenty of time to do it. For the first book I did, I only gave myself about three months to complete it. It was tight...there were dust bunnies in my house that had given birth to dust bunnies who, in turn, presented the original dust bunnies with grandbaby bunnies (get my drift?)
When I did my proposal for the Montgomery book, I told Arcadia that I wanted until Dec. 1 to finish it. Today, my editor talked me into changing my deadline to October 24 (with an extra incentive of 20 comp copies). I said yes. FREE books are gold. Actually, I don't think this will be a problem. I already have over 300 scans and a lot of info...but I am still having second thoughts...and a few heart palpitations...oh well.....
