Steve and Rachael and I returned last night after a week of haze, humidity, and heat in North Myrtle. I will not complain about the weather we had there since we were fortunate to have an ocean to run into whenever we got hot! We stayed again (we were there 2 yrs. ago) in the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle. This view is looking south (the beach & ocean are on the left, behind the big condo buildings).

One night, we went to eat at the Sea Captain's House Restaurant, which is right on the beach...here we are waiting for our table:
We left South Carolina Saturday morning around 8:00 am and headed from Washington DC, where we stopped in to see Stacey. We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant a few blocks from her apartment, and then we loaded a few of her things into the car and made a trip over to her new apartment. And today is her 22nd birthday!

We finally made it home last night after midnight....what a week!
