When we moved into our house almost 4 years ago, we needed to get some curtains for the living room. I found some fabric at Walmart which I made into panels for the 3 windows. They were very plain; goldish brown squiggley design...they were fine.
About 2 weeks ago, Steve got on the kick to search for another shower curtain. We have this lighthouse/seashore theme going in in the bathroom and the curtain continues with that theme. After much searching, we could not find one that we both liked so we decided to wait until the new Target opens this spring.
I then mentioned that I thought we could use new drapes in the living room...so a new search for fabric was begun. Here is one of the windows - a nice sage green with a valance - and I lined them, too! I am finishing the third window tonight...much better! (Did you notice my African Violet is starting to bloom?!)
