Paninis and chocolate oranges

Christmas started a few days early with a big dinner on the evening of the 23rd. All were planning to congregate at the house that evening (Dave and Carissa drove down that afternoon) so that's when we had the Christmas ham. Afterwards, everyone found a spot in the living room to digest...


On Christmas eve, panini sandwiches (with leftover ham) were on the menu...


Carissa and Davy whipped up a batch of chocolate chip cookies...


...and set them out to cool for Santa.


CHRISTMAS MORNING ~ the kids finally rolled out of bed around 10 a.m. and gathered around the table:
