For the longest time, the kids have been talking about "Craigslist" - the place to go to buy, sell, and browse for things you might need or want - but you just don't know it yet! Jacquie and Dan even found their apartment in Utah on Craigslist! I had never found the need to check it out...
Anyway, we had some furniture to get rid of. Old stuff but still good stuff. Good and tough enough for those who have kids who still spill and climb. Like my old dining room set. And a really tall bookcase. We are clearing out the dining room to make room for the new stuff. I tried selling on our company online bulletin board. No luck. And then someone suggested Craigslist. Oh, yes. Maybe I will.
So I posted a description and a picture of the tall bookcase on Wednesday. One day later, it was sold. I posted the info about the dining room set on Tuesday. Someone is coming to pick up everything on Sunday. Total gain: $175 more than we had last week! Amazing!
