This weekend, we drove up to Connecticut to attend the wedding of a friend - Heather & I first became friends when we worked together almost 10 years ago. She & Sam & Jan & Gia & Jenn & I all worked together at one company and then, eventually, all of us (except for Sam) are now working for another company - some full-time, some freelancing. We are a group who have stayed friends although some of us are at least 20 years older than the others, and there are some obvious differences in other ways...(some have a number of marvelous and intricate tattoos, while some of us don't!). All six of us were together yesterday, we met Gia's fiance, Justin, who is a real sweetheart, and we also met Sam's new boyfriend, who is also a sweetie...We had a wonderful time for the few hours we were together at Heather & Mark's reception - and made the unbelievably rainy, dreary, blustery day a day of celebration and great fun!Sunday, October 29, 2006

gia's right, this is such a great photo. you should send them a copy. i had a great time too, but was sad to leave you all. we definitely need a reunion.
