Yesterday was a day that was filled with extremes. One of my co-workers found out she is pregnant after a couple of weeks of unknown and undetermined illness and multiple doctor visits and tests. We are all extremely happy for her...and all of us "experienced mothers" now have someone to whom we can dispense our sage advice.
But we also found out that a local soldier had been killed in Baghdad. He is the first one from our county killed in action in this war (http://www.sungazette.com/News/articles.asp?articleID=16454). He grew up in Hughesville, my hometown, and we all feel a real sense of loss, even though we didn't know Sean but we know people who did. Very sad...
