For the past week of so, I have heard from Stacey more than usual. She has been evaluating the possibility of staying in DC for the summer. She got the opportunity to share a house (more like share a room in a house) with a friend. And the house is only 3 blocks from the capital building. She couldn't pass up the oppotunity and she wants to look for a job in DC...which she can't if she returns to CT. So she is staying...she is interning this summer (no $) but she is confident she will find a waitressing/catering job to cover her expenses...but it means we won't see her until her graduation next month. : (

Yesterday, I got a note from her. Literally. It was a Post-it note attached to the front page of The Hill's "Capital Living" section. Pretty cool - she had a full page article about a very nice topic:
