People are beginning to ask me when I think I will become a grandmother. Good grief! First of all, I am not even old enough to have married children (yes, I keep telling myself that!). And now that I have had another birthday, I see how quickly time is passing....
I watch the children around me as they pass certain milestones....Jacquie and Dan as they approach their first wedding anniversary on May 1, Stacey as she graduates from Gordon next month, Davy as he finishes his first year of college, Caleb as he and his longtime girlfriend go their separate ways, and Rachael gets ready for her senior year at high school. Every one of them have a sense of maturity that I admire. They are all great kids and someday, they will all (most likely) have at least one child. That means I may be a proud grandmother of five....or more! Grammy Joan. Yeah...I like that.

My kids will never call you "grammy". That's Pennsylvania speak and I do not intend to raise my kids in Pennsylvania.

Your babies aren't babies anymore!
You can be Auntie Joan to Murphy and Howie in the meantime. LOL
Where did the year go? or rather how quickly did it go??? I want to wish Jacquie and Dan a Happy First Anniversary. I went to their blog, but wasn't sure which direction to go (not very savvy, I'm sad to say). But the wishes are sincere - woo hoo! Seems like just yesterday we were travelling through the hills to the shower. God bless & keep you - Love, Barbara
