It's not too much to ask, is it?

When you buy an apothecary jar in Myrtle Beach, especially to display shells that were picked up on the beach, and the sand from that same beach...is it too much to ask that the lid of that apothecary jar would actually FIT on the top? That's really not too much to ask, is it??
