What's for dinner?
For the longest time, I have had 2 sets of everyday dinnerware: one set of plain, basic off-white heavy duty china (yawn) and a set of "seasonal" dishes that has a cute snowman design on it - which Steve thinks is too cutesy. We've been looking around for something to replace them and we found these at Sam's Club - what a deal! It's a 20 piece set (not 16) with four big mugs, four square dessert plates (don'tcha love 'em, Stace?), four smallish soup (or ice cream) bowls, four larger bowls - for salad or chili - and four big dinner plates. All this for less than $40! You can't beat that! Last night, when I was at my writer's group, Steve picked up 2 sets so we now have service for 8. Aren't they fun?!?

I LOVE THESE. I might have to copy you and get a set for myself! Uber cute!
Very smart looking. I, too, have the white - yawn - dishes. Mine are melamine! Does that take you back?!?
