"It’s been almost six months since my mom’s death and I still miss getting her Sunday evening phone calls. She would routinely ask about the weather in Montgomery, and I would wonder how much different it could possibly be where she was in Muncy. Inevitably, she would also ask if Steve had played golf that weekend and whether he had succeeded in getting a hole-in-one. When I told her no, she would laugh and say 'Well, why not?'
This past Sunday morning, I got a phone call. When I heard Steve’s voice, I wondered why he was calling me from the golf course. In a breathless voice, he announced that he had, indeed, just gotten a hole-in-one on the sixth hole. And then he went on to say, 'You know, when I saw it go in the hole, the first thing I thought of was your mom.'"

Got goose bumps reading that this morning. Your mom's spirit is still with you!
