so when the suggestion was made recently to do one here at work, I sent out the email invites and there were a dozen or so people interested in doing it. Super!
So I reserved the conference room, baked my cookies (Chocolate Crinkles):
Decorated the tables & make coffee...(this photo was taken before most arrived)
and I came home with a whole assortment of yummy pastries - from spitzbubens ( ! ) to monster cookies! These are the ones on the counter - and I put three more platefuls in the freezer for when the kids are around. Terrific idea! We are planning to do it again next year.

Good morning Joan - Ah - the beauty of cookie swaps. We're having one at work on Monday - because of the large number of participants, we're exchanging 1/2 dozens - but what a great variety! Do you exchange the recipes, too? We encourage people attaching the recipes to the cookies. Yum, yum. Barbara
